Maintenance will be performed in order to reboot the Baylor VPN server on Thursday, August 27 at 5:00 p.m. until midnight. During this time period, there may be brief, intermittent disruption in access to Baylor’s VPN server only.
Various systems including Banner, BearWeb, BearQuest and many other online services will be down for required maintenance on Saturday, August 8 beginning at 9:00 a.m. All services should be restored by 1:00 p.m.
As you are aware, Microsoft released Windows 10 recently (July 29). ITS is currently evaluating Windows 10 for compatibility with existing campus software and systems. However, ITS is still awaiting access to the full Enterprise version of Windows 10 that will need to be fully tested before it can be deployed.
Maintenance on the ITS data center network hardware will occur on Wednesday, July 15 from 6:15 p.m. until midnight. During this time period, clients will experience brief interruption in service between clients, clients and servers on campus, as well as access to the Internet from campus.
Banner Outage Due to issues during the maintenance last night affecting databases for BearWeb, Banner, BearQuest and all of the following on-line resources, the systems listed below remain down at this time. Technicians worked through the night and are still engaged with hardware vendors to restore services as quickly as possible.
Various systems including BearWeb, Banner, BearQuest, and many other on-line resources will be down for required maintenance Thursday, June 18th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Service is expected to be restored by 8:00 p.m.
The network outage scheduled by ITS for this Thursday evening, May 28, has been postponed until next week. Maintenance on the ITS data center firewalls is scheduled for Thursday, May 28 from 6:00 p.m. until midnight. Between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., clients may experience a brief interruption in service accessing campus servers and the Internet and communication between server-networks.
The TRAX/PeopleSoft financial system will be will be brought down Friday evening, May 22nd beginning at approximately 6:30 pm for system maintenance. We expect this outage to last through Saturday, May 23rd.
The RESNET and AIRBEAR firewalls will be down for scheduled maintenance Tuesday, May 19 from 6pm - midnight. The service outage is expected to last from 6:30pm to 7:00pm; during this time communication from RESNET and AIRBEAR to Baylor servers and the Internet will be affected.

The Baylor Compass System for Performance Appraisals and Learning Management will be unavailable due to maintenance between 7:00 am and 9:00 am Tuesday, May 12th. We appreciate your patience with this necessary outage.
This Thursday evening, April 30, between 5:00 and 6:00 pm, ITS will make a mandatory update to the AirBear wireless network. This change will require you to respond to a warning dialog box that will be presented the next time you attempt to access AirBear.

Maintenance will be performed Thursday, April 23 on the AirBear and ResNet networks beginning at 6:00 p.m. and lasting until midnight. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., communication from AirBear to Baylor servers and the Internet, may be interrupted for about 5 to 10 minutes.
