Your Bear_ID password is set to expire very soon. It will need to be changed before expiration to ensure uninterrupted access to campus systems that use your Bear_ID, such as email and AirBear.
How do I change my password?
The best way to change your Bear_ID password is from the Baylor ITS website. You can find the "Reset Password" button on the front ITS web page. Follow the on-screen instructions to change your password.
Note to Faculty/Staff: It is best to complete this process on your Baylor-owned computers while physically connected to the campus network. Once the process is completed, it is recommended that you restart your computer. If it is not possible to change your password from campus, after clicking the "Reset Password" button on the ITS web page, select the topic "Where" for further instructions.
Will this affect application/devices that have my password saved?
Any device or application, such as a smart phone or mail client, that has your password saved will need to be updated in order to continue to function. Information about what needs to change and how to change it can be found by clicking the "Reset Password" button on the ITS web page and select the topic "What".
Why do I need to change my password?
Baylor ITS Password Policies require everyone with a valid Bear_ID change their password at least every 180 days in order to protect University's resources, as well as your personal information stored on University systems.
How do I know that this email is legitimate?
Many spam and phishing emails look incredibly legitimate. If you have any reservations about the validity of this email, the text of the message can be verified by clicking on the "Reset Password" button on the ITS web page and select "Is it SPAM?"
