When you want to change your password, go to the My Account tab on the Password and Account Management portal. Enter your BearID and password and follow the prompts.
If your password has stopped working, go to the Password Reset link and enter your BearID and click on the "Forgot your password?" link. This option to allows you to answer your security questions. If you would like to receive a reactivation code via text message to your cell phone (if you have your cell phone set up in the system), go to the SMS Reset portion of the Password and Account Managment portal.
ITS will automatically send you an e-mail reminder when your password is near its expiration date. The first notification is sent 30 days before your password expires. Notices are then sent 21 days, 14 days, 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day until your password is reset. To see the text of the e-mail, click here.
Restart your computer after you have changed your password. Faculty and staff must restart their computers to synchronize all Baylor systems that use the BearID and password for access. If you do not restart, email, printing and others systems will not function properly.
