This position supports the mission of the University by providing the leadership and vision to develop the infrastructure support that enables our Baylor community to connect to information using technology. This support includes hardware and software technology purchases, installation and maintenance services for hardware devices and their components, operating system, and basic software applications for computing and printing devices used by faculty and staff. To further enhance the ability to develop new ideas for accessing information through the use of computing and mobile devices and to provide prompt solutions and services for existing systems, help assistance and training services. The position must also analyze office technology needs, operations and functions and serve as a change agent for technological innovation.
