On-Campus Calls

Use only the last four digits of the campus telephone number when dialing from an on-campus phone. This number is referred to as the campus extension.

Local Calls

When placing an off-campus call to the local area, dial "9" to reach an outside line. After the dial tone for an outside line has been reached, dial the complete seven-digit local number.

Long Distance Calls

To place a long distance call, dial 9 + 1 + area code + number. After a series of tones, enter your six-digit authorization code. Your authorization code, which is issued to you through your department, is uniquely yours and should not be shared with others.

International Calls

To place an international call, dial 9 + 1 + 011 + country code + city code + number. After a series of tones, enter your six-digit authorization code. Dial "0" for operator assistance for city or country code.
