Activities

The Institute for Faith and Learning gives attention to Christian intellectual resources valuable for the work of scholars, teachers, and students in the church-related university and beyond. One of the ways we do so is through a variety of programs directed at our various constituencies.

Some of our initiatives encourage reflection on the academic life as a Christian vocation. Others lend support to research projects inspired by a theologically shaped outlook. We also regularly create forums for the sort of interdisciplinary inquiry that hyper-specialized academic guilds generally overlook or undervalue, to the detriment of self-reflectively Christian thinking about scholarly issues.
