Colloquium

Colloquium is a two-credit-hour course for sophomores and juniors in the Honors Program.  Students attend five Monday evening small-group sessions during the semester to discuss texts selected by five different instructors.  These conversations introduce Honors students to a variety of classical and contemporary issues and to the perspectives of scholarly disciplines other than their major fields of study. The sixth Colloquium brings all students together for a final discussion. This event in late April usually features a special speaker who designates the text(s) to be discussed.
