Dr. Chris Rios
Dr. Rios enjoyed a career in secondary education before pursuing his graduate degrees. He earned a B.Mus. from Bethel University in 1995, a M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2005, and his Ph.D. from Baylor University in 2010. He began teaching at Baylor as a graduate student in 2008. His research focuses on the history of the evangelical engagement with science in the twentieth century.
As Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, Dr. Rios works closely with the Associate Dean for Professional Development to create and enhance student and professional development programs within the Graduate School. He also oversees the submission process for theses and dissertations, coordinates graduate student benefits, and serves as faculty sponsor for the Graduate Student Association.
