SET for Graduate Students
Graduate Students
Graduate student TORs in their first semester of teaching are required to participate in SET unless exempt. If you are a graduate student TOR, please review carefully the following requirements:Graduate students who are NEW TORs are required to complete at least 5 seminars in the following SET program either prior to or during their first semester of teaching in order to continue as a TOR.
Departmental SET Sessions:
Graduate Program Directors who wish to offer a special section for their TORs should contact Associate Dean Laine Scales. Please check here for the list of departments who have a special SET session.
Exemptions:
As SET seeks to avoid redundancies, many TORs will be exempt from the mandatory attendance of seminars due to approved courses in their own departments. Please check here for exemptions.
