Petroleum Geosciences

Many students engaged in graduate studies in the Baylor Geology Department enter the petroleum industry after completion of their M.S. or Ph.D. degrees; it is well-known that the petroleum industry highly values Baylor Geology students who receive our well-rounded graduate education. Three programs are especially engaged in preparing students for the petroleum industry, through a combination of specific course materials, internships, and specific projects that are in some case supported by industry.
