Facilities Management

In July 1994, Don Bagby was appointed the Director of Facilities Management for Baylor University. Since that time, he has provided direction of the design and construction effort required to implement a $300+ million building expansion at Baylor University.

Current areas of responsibility include:

• Facilities Services
• Energy Management
• Facilities Project Management
• Facilities Engineering Services

Prior to joining Baylor, Don held positions of Facilities Engineer, Industrial Engineering Manager and Senior Member/Technical Staff with Texas Instruments. Don has directed the design and installation of several complex facilities systems in the electronics industry. His 29 years of architectural and engineering involvement has included work as an engineering designer for Hughes Tool Company and the operation of his own residential and commercial architectural design business.

He holds an engineering degree from Texas A&M University. Don and his wife Laurie have two sons, Josh, 21 and Ben, 17. The Bagbys live in Lorena and are active members of Temple Brethren Church.
