Coretta Pittman, Associate Professor of English in the Professional Writing Program, received a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from Wayne State University. She serves as the faculty sponsor for The Phoenix, Baylor's student-run magazine for literature and the arts. She teaches courses in advanced expository writing and rhetorical theory. Her research examines the social and cultural importance of language.
