Engaged Learning Groups

Program Information
An Engaged Learning Group (ELG) is a close-knit community that explores a challenging topic from an interdisciplinary perspective. This community of freshman students live and learn together in Kokernot Hall.

With two semesters of engaging assignments, unique co-curricular activities, an active social environment, and sustained interaction with Baylor faculty members, an ELG is a great way to integrate into campus life.

The 2013-2014 ELG topics are Hispanic Families in Transition and Doing Justice. Approximately 40 students will be chosen to be a part of each ELG, earning 6-12 credit hours over the course of two semesters.

Location: Kokernot Hall

Eligibility: All freshmen students who are entering in Fall semester and who are not part of another Living-Learning Program
