Kenneth T. Wilkins, Ph.D.

Dr. Kenneth Wilkins is professor of biology at Baylor University. He also serves as associate dean of graduate studies and research in the Graduate School.He received his Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Florida in 1982, served as a postdoctoral fellow in vertebrate paleontology and mammalogy at the Florida State Museum and joined the Baylor faculty in 1983. Dr. Wilkins research interests include various aspects of vertebrate biology, including functional morphology, ecology and biogeography with emphasis on mammals (especially rodents and bats). He has published more than 40 papers, book chapters and books, many coauthored with his graduate and undergraduate students, and has served in various editorial roles for the Journal of Mammalogy.
