Every March you are invited to return to campus for the Laura Blanche Jackson Endowed Memorial Lectureship in World Issues.

The 18th annual Laura Blanche Jackson Lectureship in World Issues was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 29th, in the Paul W. Powell Chapel of George W. Truett Theological Seminary. The speaker was Dr. David Lampton, Dean of Faculty, George and Sadie Hyman Professor of China Studies, and Director of the China Studies Program at Johns Hopkins University. The lecture was entitled, "The United States and China in the Era of the 'Pivot' to Asia." Past Jackson Lectures have featured such distinguished scholars as Dr. Michael Mandelbaum, Dr. George Weigel, Mr. Charles Hill, Dr. Robert J. Lieber, and Dr. Andrew C. Kutchins.

This event is free and open to the public.
