Astrophysics is the branch of astronomy that deals with the physics of space. It includes the physical properties of space objects (like planets, stars, galaxies and comets) as well as their interactions. Astrophysics includes many other disciplines from physics such as electromagnetism, relativity, mechanics, and atomic and molecular physics.
