The mission of academic advising at Baylor University and in the College of Arts & Sciences is to guide students in using appropriate resources to facilitate the learning process as they pursue their personal and academic goals.
COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES ADVISEMENT
As a student in the College of Arts & Sciences, your advising home is CASA (the College of Arts & Sciences Advisement office). You can always contact CASA anytime you have questions.
WHO IS MY ADVISOR?
It depends on your rank, major, and what program(s) you are in. You can find out by going to your BearWeb account and clicking on "Advising."
- Many freshmen and sophomores in the College of Arts & Sciences are required to be advised by CASA. Click here to find out more.
- Many juniors and seniors are required to be advised by their major department.
- Pre-majors in the College of Arts & Sciences are required to be advised by University Advisement in the Paul L. Foster Success Center.
Your degree audit is literally an audit of your degree plan, where you can always see what requirements you have fulfilled and what requirements you still lack.
