WACO, Texas (Oct. 8, 2015) – SMG is pleased to announce Stadium SPOOKtacular, presented by Lowe’s of Waco, a family-friendly Halloween event that will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, inside McLane Stadium.
“The average age for victims entering the human trafficking lifestyle is 14-16 years old,” said Elizabeth Goatley, Ph.D., assistant professor in Baylor University’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, who studies trafficking. “Each year, there are 30,000 to 40,000 children at risk for trafficking recruitment. Some common places for recruitment are schools, bus stations, homeless shelters, malls and on the Internet.”

The Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, new home of Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business, was dedicated Friday at a daylong celebration. Vincent Cronin, Ph.D., award-winning professor of geology at Baylor University and accomplished researcher, was recently selected by the American Geosciences Institute and the National Association of Geoscience Teachers as the new editor for the AGI/NACT Laboratory Manual in Physical Geology, beginning with the 11th edition.
